Practical Tools to Improve Energy Efficiency in SMEs through EcoSMEnergy Trainings

The transition towards more efficient energy management is becoming a key priority for industrial SMEs seeking to reduce costs, improve competitiveness and adapt to the current energy landscape. In this context, the project EcoSMEnergy, supports SMEs in identifying energy-saving opportunities and implementing practical measures to optimise their energy performance.

As part of the project’s capacity-building activities, on 8 July, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce organises a free online training programme designed to provide companies with practical knowledge and tools to improve energy management and decision-making.

The “Energy Saving Measures and Continuous Improvement” session, will address the identification and prioritisation of energy-saving measures, quick wins and investment opportunities, monitoring results and a practical introduction to ISO 50001 principles. Companies can register through the following link.

Participants will gain practical skills to better understand and manage their energy consumption, identify cost-saving opportunities and prioritise measures with the greatest economic impact. Through a hands-on approach, the training will provide tools and methodologies that can be directly applied within the company, helping SMEs improve their energy performance and strengthen their competitiveness. The programme is primarily aimed at industrial SMEs from the chemical, plastics, metal, machinery, electrical and electronic equipment, and automotive sectors.
