Objectives
The EcoSMEnergy project focuses on enhancing the skills of energy technicians and top management within companies of key industrial sectors (NACE codes 20 to 22 and 25 to 29). Its primary focus is on supporting the Clean Energy Transition within these sectors by implementing energy management systems, energy Auditing, training and awareness raising activities and decision making tools. All materials are available on the knowledge platform Impawatt providing more than 200 training materials as well as tools for self-assessment, financing and energy monitoring.
The project will train 540 companies, 20 of them will be selected for energy audits, 364 of them will be involved in data via IT tools. 264 staff members of the SMEs will be trained to enhance awareness of energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy and improve their skills to use an Energy Management System (EMS) that will be developed within the project. More than 80 companies will use the EMS. Additionally, the project will reach out to 1,500 stakeholders of the targeted sectors to raise awareness. A further 10,000 stakeholders will be reached and informed about the initiative and its tools.
