The EcoSMEnergy project aims to offer a holistic solution to address energy challenges of SMEs in NACE code sectors C20 to C22 and C25 to C29, with tangible impacts on energy efficiency and sustainability, while aligning with EU directives focused on energy efficiency and promoting clean energy transitions.

Its primary objective is to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability of SMEs in the targeted sectors by means of a broad range of activities that deal with challenges related to energy efficiency, lack of awareness, motivation, or access to financial solutions.

Outcomes and Impact

To overcome key barriers such as limited knowledge, financial constraints, and complex support systems, the EcoSMEnergy project provides a range of services including energy auditing, energy monitoring tools, and comprehensive training workshops.

These initiatives aim to equip SME staff with the skills necessary to manage energy use efficiently and support the implementation of EnMS.

Through its various activities, the project foreseen the following results:

  • Train over 250 staff
  • Engage over 500 companies in energy management initiatives
  • Support 20 SMEs in conducting energy audits
