Baseline Research (Scoping Studies)

The EcoSMEnergy project begins with a clear understanding of where SMEs stand in terms of energy performance. To do so, during the project, two scoping studies are performed:

The first study: “Scoping Study Report“, focuses on mapping the energy consumption of SMEs from the selected NACE code sectors. The sectors are analysed and benchmarked and the energy performance of SMEs is compared, gaps and improvements are identified.

The second study examines SMEs’ awareness levels of energy efficiency measures, and provides actionable guidance.

Through these studies, the project identifies inefficiencies and assesses the potential for energy savings and trainings.
