Capacity Building

Knowledge transfer and skills development are key elements of the EcoSMEnergy project. Targeted training sessions, workshops, and support measures are to help Business Support Organisations (BSOs), Energy Auditors and SMEs understand and implement energy efficiency measures.

In order to cater for the training needs of the two main target groups, different trainings are organised.

On one hand there will be training for BSOs and energy auditors in so-called “Train the Trainers” workshops, and on the other there will be dedicated training sessions for SMEs.

SMEs wanting to engage actively in energy monitoring will be offered access to a dedicated Energy Management System (EnMS) Platform.

Besides, they will have free access to the Energy Efficiency Hub and the Impawatt platform. The Energy Efficiency Hub gathers resources, tools, and guidance from all EU-funded energy efficiency projects, and grows continuously.

The Impawatt platform offers registered users a wealth of information related to energy efficiency. project also provides access to over 200 energy efficiency resources through the Impawatt platform. The platform offers SMEs a practical, step-by-step approach to reducing energy costs while boosting sustainability.
